Laryngitis, a very common seasonal condition

Favoring causes of respiratory disease are the factors that determine the reaction failure (circulatory changes) of the nasal mucosa, pharynx, trachea and bronchi, the alveoli and the pleura. These changes decrease the strength and power of local defense of these tissues,
helping or triggering action of microbes.

Almost any "cold" begins with rhinitis and nasal inflammation representing abundance. Mucosal inflammation and injury may be associated with nose throat (nasopharyngitis) that will occur with sore throat. Often, with the lining of the nose, pharynx and trachea, and
larynx are congested; laryngitis is characterized by dry cough and hoarseness to the loss of voice.

Another favoring cause is the action on the mucous membranes and respiratory irritants, certain substances that exert a mechanical irritation (dust, smoke, mineral and organic dust, lint, cement, small particles of plant origin and especially tobacco smoke) or chemical (gas
irritating, toxic gases, vapors irritants) factors becoming more common now and especially in large cities due to increasing development of the industry.

Predisposing causes are factors that facilitate the production of respiratory mucosal inflammation through creation of conditions that lower body resistance against determined and favored causes. Predisposing factors are considered:
