These are the symptoms of leaky gut that you may have in the gastrointestinal (GI) system: Abdominal pain that is experienced longer than usual; excessive passing of gas and abdominal bloating; constipation and loose bowel motion can also occur; heartburn may be experienced in the upper GI; and anal irriations may also be present in lower GI.
Your liver may also be affected. The toxins, after passing through the intestinal wall, are able to go to your liver and not be cleared which may result in the inflammation of the liver. Toxic hepatitis can result from a less functional liver. This is one of the most distressing symptoms of leaky gut that the afflicted person can experience.
