On May 13, 2012, thirty-year holistic medical practitioner Dr. Randall Neustaedter O.M.D. (The Holistic Baby Guide, The Child Health Guide) wrote some amazing piece for the 'Natural News' website touching the relationship between sun exposure and cancer put to hazard.
In his article, 'Sun Exposure Lowers Cancer Risk,' the adept cites a 2012 study of 450,000 U.S. subjects, ranging in ages from 50 to 71.
The subjects well-considered, lived in completely diverse sections of the native land; ranging from those with sunny and sunny weather for much of the year (i.e. California, Florida) to again 'variable weather' areas, where sun exposure is naturally less (i.e. New Jersey, Michigan).
Researchers followed the subjects instead of nine years, in an attempt to get out if more sunlight exposure meant a higher incidence of cancer. The study eliminated other known cancer risks so as smoking, body-mass, and levels of physical activity.
What were the results? Here are the savant's own words, penned in his 'Natural News' comedy.
'75,000 participants in the study contracted cancer. The study place that 12 types of cancer were reduced in those subjects exposed to additional sunlight. These included cancers of the lungs, prostate, pancreas, colon, thyroid and great number other types.'
This doesn't surprise me at wholly, as I've been a partisan of the work of cancer survivor Dr. Lorraine Day despite years. And she's been claiming by reason of a long time, that ANIMALS, INCLUDING MAN, ONLY GET CANCER WHEN EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT IF THEIR DIETS ARE FULL OF FATS, PROCESSED FOODS, MEATS, AND OTHER POISONS! So it's not the ny place that's causing cancer, but preferably Man's affinity for toxic feed intake! I'm paraphrasing Dr. Day to this place, yet that about sums up her discord on the subject.
I tend to agree through her.
I'm betting that hidden, built-up poisons inside the corpse (normally highly concentrated in the digestive part and colon), as they are pushed to the pelt surface, react negatively to sun exposure. While bodies, clean from the interior out, do NOT react negatively to the sunshine. Quite the opposite in fact!
After quite, humans have been in the sun for thousands of years, Dr. Day contends. And skin cancer is a relatively new wonder; which, incidentally, has skyrocketed with the popularization of processed, largely baneful, 'foods.'
The study cited by Dr. Neustaedter goes a diffuse way toward proving Dr. Day exact, in my mind. It shows, clearly, that increased day-star exposure correlates to a reduced peril of contracting most cancers; not an increased one. And I'd have ing willing to bet, that 75,000 figure (the number that contracted cancer in the study) would obtain been a lot lower, had the participants been required to adhere to a healthy, plant-based diet.
So which's the best way to stay cancer-free for life?
Eat abundant of raw, unprocessed plant foods. In thing done, you'd do best to pattern your diet after chimps and gorillas; by whom we share over 95% genes. They live resonant cancer-free lives eating little in greater numbers than raw fruit! Add in inorganic body-rich edible green vegetables, like spinach and colewort, and you'll be in enormous shape.
Exercise vigorously! Start your epoch with a good 30 to 60 minutes of calisthenics or yoga. Intense employ gets the blood flowing through and regenerative every cell in your body. It burns material part-fat, enhances endurance and builds fallen away, attractive muscle. You can't beat exercise for great results!
AND, GET PLENTY OF VITAMIN-D-RICH SUNLIGHT!. Dr. Campbell, creator of the The China Study (look pp. 361-2, 2006 ed., Benbella Books) recommends rightful 'a few hours of sunshine both week,' to get all the Vitamin D you need for optimum health.
I normally journey for more than that as I answer quite a bit of running, in etc to daily calisthenic workouts.
And take it of this: I've exposed my derm to plenty of sunlight over my 44 years. I've vouchsafed extended hikes through Death Valley, Ca., undivided of the most 'sun-baked' places forward earth! Yet I've never used day-star screen, and have suffered no negative furniture. My skin still appears youthful, and largely slander-free.
Does this have anything to achieve with my 'stubborn' adherence to a largely piercing, unprocessed, plant-based diet; which keeps the insides ceremonially pure, so there's little poisonous material working its way out, toward the sun?
I think so.
Just be judicious. Get an hour or two of sunlight each day. Avoid exposure at the hottest, brightest times; particularly if you're very whitish-skinned, or prone to burning easily.
Based ward the work of Dr. Neustaedter, Dr. Day, and others, I'd presume you can throw out your sunscreen; which may, new evidence suggests, actually be augmented the risk of contracting cancer!
But that's y article for another day.
